Cracow has always been a historical capital of Poland, and it was chosen in July 2016 as the meeting place for the young people around the world with the pope Francis. It is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Cracow is traditionally been, and still remains one of the leading centers of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life. In this place lived and worked many outstanding people of whom many are proclaimed saints by now – like pope John Paul II, who was the Archbishop of Cracow.
110 years ago to this city came first salesians enriching the city with Don Bosco spirit. Nowadays Salesian Family is represented by: the Salesians of Don Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Michaelites, Salesian Cooperators, Past Pupils. The Salesian Family is engaged in various works, among which are the two seminaries, three schools, two parishes, oratories and youth centers.
We are very happy to invite all of SYM groups, and we will promise that you will have a great time in Cracow.
